Dahle 848 Guillotine

The Dahle 848 is a heavy duty cutter for quick and accurate separation of
whole piles of print-outs or the precision sizing of large
stacks of paper - all, in absolute safety.

The 848 model has "see through" guards, and a moving backstop which is adjusted via a spindle at the front of the machine.
The clear guards enable you to see exactly where the blade is aligned before you make the cut.

The front and rear guards afford absolute safety whilst being operated.
A powerful paper clamp securely holds the stack during the cut operation, ensuring clean accurate cuts through the whole set of material being cut.

This type of guillotine is often called a "stack cutter" or "ream cutter" because of it's ability to cut through a whole stack or ream of paper in one go.
This type of guillotine has a blade which decends horizontally, and cuts through stacks of paper or other materials.
The 848 can cut up to approximately 800 sheets of 75gsm paper.

With a strong clamping mechanism you can secure the whole stack of paper and cut with a repeated level of accuracy.

This model is ideal for print rooms, commercial printers, and reprograhics departments needing to produce volumes of documents, brochures, and reports and more.
The cutting depth of the Dahle 848 is 80mm, allowing you to cut approximately 800 sheets of paper (75gsm) at a time.
