Blades for Dahle Trimmers
The rotary blade fitted in your Dahle trimmer is part of a preformed assembly.
The blade alone cannot be changed.
You will need to fit a new cutting head assembly.
The cutting head assembly is the whole plastic assembly that slides along the guide bar, and incorporates the rotary lade disc. The head (blade assembly) is usually either grey or black in colour.
The assembly also incorporates the rubber traction wheel which can perish with age which can be another reason to replace the cutting head.
Fitting of the cutting head is easy.
Simply pop out the guide bar or slide off the red end caps and then slide out the metal guide bar (depending on your model).
Then slide the old assembly off and the new one one.
Refit the guide bar and ensure the blade is aligned alongside the edge of the trimmer as before.
